October 27, 2008- Jeff Olson was married on Saturday, October 25 in Rockland, Maine to his fiance and personal manager, Leigh Rush.  Congrats Oly! 

October 5, 2008- The debut record will be out soon, probably before Christmas. Olson states, "Sorry for the delay, but it will be out! I can't wait to get this out so I can begin working on the second record!"

December 30, 2007- Jeff Oly Olson, has issued the following update regarding the new Retro Grave line up.

"I'm pleased to announce the addition of two new band members to front Retro Grave. J. Cortes and Rob Zimmermann. Both players sing and play bass guitar. I plan on creating a huge low range wall of sound by interchanging baritone and bass guitars, exclusively for doom. I already use this trick in the studio, but now I can use it live in concert. In addition J. Cortes is from Peru, Lima (now residing in Boston, Massachusetts) and Rob Zimmermann is from the Netherlands which will bring a broad range of musical influences and international sound to the band."

Retro Grave is now in the studio in Portland, Maine recording their debut full length, 'Again,' scheduled for a 2008 release. 'Again' will consist of 12 tracks, including 1 bonus track.

December 06, 2007- Jeff Oly Olson has written a detailed studio report on Retro Grave for the Roadburn Festival website. This is the first time Olson has shared full details of the birth of Retro Grave including his inspirations and future plans for the band. "For the last several years, I have wanted to create my own band. I have worked on Bruce Franklin's band, Supershine and Rick Wartell's band, Wet Animal and, of course, I love being the drummer for Trouble [my band mates are like brothers] but recording on my own with Retro Grave gives me more opportunity to be creative with my own style of writing. Therefore, I decided to seriously write and record some material in December 2006. This is not just a side band. I definitely do not want to release just one or two albums and call it good. This is something more... a band where I can be artistically fulfilled and tour as well. For me, the debut of Retro Grave was like that of insects that pupate in a cocoon and must birth from it… now, so must Retro Grave." Oslon will be playing the 13th Roadburn Festival with Trouble, Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 013 in Tilberg, Holland.
